Superman Batman Generations 2 An Imaginary Tale Elseworlds John A Byrne Books
This sequel to Generations continues the concept of Superman and Batman aging over the years. Like the first one it starts in the 30s and proceeds to the 2000s this time with chapters set 11 years apart. We get more glimpses of how Superman and Batman's lives (and that of their heirs) proceeded over nearly a century and get glimpses of multiple generations of Green Lanterns, Flashes and Wonder Women.
As with the original there are some weak chapters but overall it presents an interesting glimpse into the sort of world mainstream comics avoid.

Superman Batman Generations 2 An Imaginary Tale Elseworlds John A Byrne Books Reviews
Great Book in perfect condition
I loved the story line that made a real history of the lives and adventures of Batman and Superman. It was a great read and flows with the first Generations.
Great condition very pleased with this
This did the job of making a nice timeline from Superman and Batman's appearances during Wold War II. I enjoyed seeing what could have happened with Batman Legend and families being brought in. Love, Lose, Adventure, Friendship it is all there.
great
The interesting thing about this story is it is written by the man who totally rewrote the Superman Saga in the Man of Steel in the mid 80s. It is a fun story. I enjoyed it. But I find it interesting that Byrne decided to go with this pre-crisis on infinite earths style of story.
In this book he write a tale that is not in canon with the rest of the DC universe. He writes a story about the meeting of Batman and Superman and how they cross paths every 10 years. He uses all the old DC and Superman lore that was kind of done away with after 1985. Batman is more of a bright happy hero as he was in the 50s and 60s rather than the dark brooding character we have grown accustomed to. We also see that all powerful version of Superman that Byrne himself helped do away with in 1985. All the different types of kryptonite are used in the story. All the pre-crisis Superman Lore is brought back in this tale. It is enjoyable yet I would have like to see a similar story without all the 1950s and 60s style silliness that went along with these characters. But, the fact that Byrne chooses to write this story in that style shows he has a strong respect for what was written before his time. It is definitely worth a read. Just don't expect the darker post 80s style of writing that you may be used to if you are a newer comic fan. This is a story about a Superman and Batman from older days.
A very good story just like the “imaginary “ stories in the middle 60’s and the “ elseworlds “ series. Good story and a interesting ending
Since the 30's Batman and Superman have been the world's greatest heroes. Through the magic of comics they have not aged and remain ever young. But what if they had aged? What if they had changed as the world changed? What if their friends and foes and families had aged and died with them? What if the HAD families? What if not all of their enemies managed to live on and on and on like they frustratingly do? Welcome to Generations. Another great story from John Byrne.
